DNB Centralised Counselling 2011
NBE has announced in the Information Bulletin for DNB CET December 2010 “it has been decided that the allocation of seats shall be undertaken on the basis of centralized counseling to be conducted by NBE subject to technical & operational feasibility. Detailed scheme in this regard shall be notified in due course”. Pursuant to the same, the matter has been reviewed by the National Board of Examinations and it has been decided that:
a) Centralized counseling
It has been decided that the seats of DNB program shall be allocated through merit based centralized counseling and this shall be implemented w.e.f. January 2011 session.
The centralized counseling shall be held at New Delhi in February 2011. Exact dates and venue for the counseling shall be announced on 4th Feb 2011.
b) Registration for Counseling
Candidates desirous of participation in seat allocation process Jan 2011 are required to submit an online registration form at
www.natboard.edu.in
The registration form shall be available at website till 1800hrs on 31.01.2011. Desirous and eligible candidate shall have to register online. Candidates who have not registered shall not be considered for counseling. Applicant candidates will get computer generated acknowledgement slip at the end of registration process.
c) List of seats available:
State wise list of seats available for January 2011 (including family medicine) seats shall be published on NBE website by 07.02.2011 (provisional)
d) Publications of merit list
Merit list of enrolled candidates for January 2011 session shall be published online at www.natboard.edu.in on 07.02.2011.
e) Applicant candidates shall note their date and venue of counseling from website of NBE and appear at the indicated time and venue on their own, NBE shall not be responsible for any travel or stay arrangements.
f) Candidates who have already joined or taken a seat in any DNB course earlier will not be eligible to participate in the counseling Jan 2011.
